Lil Wayne

LEVEL produced the technical build for Lil Wayne's 2018 performance at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai.

Working inside a hotel venue rather than a purpose-built room shapes every decision. Rigging had to be engineered to the building's capabilities and access routes, and the audio system specified to deliver the low-end weight the performance required while staying controlled within an enclosed space. The lighting rig was built for a high-energy set — movement, strong colour and cues driven by the music.

LEVEL handled the load-in through the venue's service access, delivered the build within the available window, crewed the performance, and cleared the room overnight.
