Color Run Sports Event Management

LEVEL delivered the technical production for The Color Run at Dubai Autodrome in 2018.

Billed as the happiest 5K on the planet, the format is simple and unusually demanding to produce: participants set off dressed in white and are showered in coloured powder as they pass through colour stations along the course, finishing at a festival area. The powder gets into everything, which matters when you are the one supplying the loudspeakers and lighting.

Sound has to reach a moving crowd across the start area, the course and the festival zone, so systems were positioned across the footprint rather than concentrated at one stage, and powered from temporary distribution. LEVEL supplied the audio, lighting, staging and rigging, crewed the event day, and cleared the circuit afterwards.
