Color Run

LEVEL provided the technical production for The Color Run in the United Arab Emirates in 2022.

The Color Run is a mass-participation 5K in which runners start in white and pass through colour stations along the route, finishing at a festival area — a format that has run in dozens of countries and draws a crowd that moves rather than sits.

That makes it a distributed production: sound has to carry across the start area, along the course and through the festival zone, so systems were positioned across the footprint rather than concentrated at a single stage. Power was distributed from temporary supply, and staging and rigging engineered for outdoor conditions and for public safety around a crowd in motion. LEVEL crewed the build, the event day and the derig.
