LEVEL delivered technical production for SailGP in Dubai in 2024.

The Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix opened SailGP's 2024/25 season, raced from a stadium course at Port Rashid. SailGP is built for spectators — short, high-speed fleet races between national teams, run close inshore so a shoreside crowd can follow them — which puts the production's weight on the spectator areas rather than a stage.

Audio has to carry commentary and event presentation across open ground where there are no walls to help, and screens have to let the crowd follow racing happening at a distance on the water. Equipment was specified for an exposed coastal site, with salt air and wind loading factored into the rigging and staging, and power distributed across the footprint from temporary supply.
