MOTN Festival

MOTN Festival was produced in 2021, with LEVEL delivering the technical package.

The Mother of the Nation Festival is Abu Dhabi's annual family festival, held in tribute to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak and hosted by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, staged along the Abu Dhabi Corniche. Its programme spans live performance, art installations, rides and public activity areas.

A waterfront site on that scale is a distributed build: several areas each need audio and lighting appropriate to what happens there, powered from temporary distribution laid across the footprint, with equipment positions and cable routes planned around public circulation. LEVEL supplied the systems, staging and rigging, and crewed the build, the operating programme and the derig.
