MENA Effie Awards

LEVEL delivered the technical production for the MENA Effie Awards in Dubai in 2019.

The Effies are the region's marketing effectiveness awards — judged on results rather than craft, across a long list of categories — which in practice means a ceremony with a great many on-stage moments and an audience of agencies and clients who notice when one goes wrong.

The production was therefore built around dependable repetition: consistent audio for presenters and winners, screen content cued tightly to each announcement, and a lighting state that could be recalled identically for every award without drifting across the evening. LEVEL supplied the loudspeaker system, microphones, screens, lighting, staging and rigging, and crewed the rehearsal and the ceremony through to a same-night derig.
