Cinderella On Ice
Cinderella On Ice ran for four days at the Zabeel Theatre in Dubai in 2024, with LEVEL delivering the technical production across the run.
The Imperial Ice Stars production is one of the more technically ambitious shows to tour on ice: alongside the skating it carries three-dimensional scenery, flying, projection, and practical effects including fire and rain. Each of those has to work over a rink without compromising the ice or the performers working on it, which makes rigging, power and effects integration the defining part of the job rather than an addition to it.
Lighting had to give glare-free coverage of a reflective surface while holding designed states for the storytelling, with follow spots on the principals. LEVEL crewed all four days plus the build and derig.
